50-50 Grind is a reference to the popular skateboarding maneuver in which both trucks of a skateboard grind on a rail, notably used in the popular skating series Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. For SimpleFlips, it is when Mario grinds on the side of a platform in the game Super Mario 64, typically in a glitchy manner.
